Since 1959, El’s has been serving the community, cooking consistently tasty meals that will keep you coming back again and again. There menu is vast, consisting of items such as bacon and egg sandwiches, pizza burgers, cheese dogs, and even fried chicken. For sides, you’ll find things like classics like fries, with or without cheese and chili, onion rings, hush puppies, potato chips, or their famous coleslaw. Thirsty? El’s offers their famous milkshakes, along with soda, water, and classic southern sweet tea. You can even call-in your order ahead of time, using the number 252-726-3002.
Since El’s is a typical drive-in, most customers eat in their vehicles. However, for those beautiful coastal sunny days, they offer outdoor picnic tables, shaded by beautiful oak trees.

Their website slogan, “Satisfy your cravings”, along with their saying that they have “the best friend chicken and barbeque”, both are proven to be extremely true to anyone who has tried El’s.
