About The Area

Our winter vacation rentals include locations in Atlantic Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, and Harkers Island. All are within short distances of nearby beaches and offer guests cozy places to settle for extended trips. Just south of the Southern OBX, the area offers quaint towns with historic buildings and main streets offering shops and restaurants to explore.

Things To Do

If you can tear yourself away from the beaches, there are plenty of other things to do. Fishing is very big in the area along with paddleboarding or kayaking around the protected lands of the Rachel Carson Preserve. You are just a few minutes drive from any number of towns if you want a change of scenery, or get outdoors and ride your bike across the island. Hop into any of the local cafes and bakeries for a quick treat or try one of the many restaurants offering fresh, local oysters caught off the coast.
