Carteret County boasts some of the best schools in the nation. With both public and private options, your family is sure to find a school that is right for their child. For K-5 options, St. Egbert Catholic School is a private Catholic School located in Morehead City, North Carolina, while the Tiller School is a charter school located in Beaufort, NC. Also, Grammercy Christian School is located in Newport and is the only private, K through 12 option on the Crystal Coast. Croatan High School frequently ranks in the top ten among NC School while West Carteret High School ranks near the tops as well.
