What is the Weather Like in the Fall?

With temperatures hovering around a high of 70 and low of mid-50s, the weather provides many opportunities for outdoor activities on the Crystal Coast. We also love the local ferry. Hop aboard for a quick 30-minute ride. You can take one to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse or The Shackleford Banks. The Alive at Five is an extremely popular concert series that is enjoyed from both visitors and locals to the area. The event is free of entry for all, and is a great opportunity to catch some local music. 

The Beaufort Brewin Craft Beer Festival occurs annually every September, and is a great way to sample all of the great breweries from the Beaufort area. 

Aside from beer, there is also a wide variety of barbecue options for you to try from the area. The fall is a holiday season. Is there a lovelier place to celebrate Thanksgiving? Beaufort has a community Thanksgiving parade for tourists and locals to participate in. You can learn about local history in the area and absorb local traditions.
